I just received two beautiful rosettes from LMI and they have what can best be called, a wrinkle in them. Will this smooth out when I apply glue and clamp pressure? Should I spritz them now with a little water and lightly weight them as you do with wrinkled veneer? Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Steve |

Steve, Do you mean like a potato chip? If so, just some weight will do it. But if you are talking a ripple in the lines, then you could heat it with an iron(not too high of a temp)then press it out and add weight. If you get the temp too high, it could melt the glue and it could fall apart. Be careful. Tracy |

Michael, Thanks and I will try it but this wrinkle is within the cross section, not side to side. I'll let you know tomorrow. Steve |

Tracy, Ripple across the lines. I'm going to put it in my humid room on the concrete floor and let it stabilize before I do anything drastic. Thanks, Steve |

I would try placing it between two flat surfaces with a weight on top. |
